Brooksville Place is 300-unit multi-housing development site in Brooksville (Tampa MSA), Florida with a highly visible location at the corner of State Road 50and Horse Lake Rd allowing immediate access to thousands of healthcare and skilled manufacturing positions, as well as numerous grocers, retailers, and restaurants. Brooksville Place will be a mix of 3-story walk-up and 4-story elevator served buildings using the Summit Construction upgraded prototype allowing for an efficient and economical construction period.

 

The Hernando County submarket has had zero supply deliver since 2008, and is currently undersupplied by roughly 2,800 units. Currently, there are only three projects (including Brooksville Place) in the development pipeline. The City Council of Brooksville noted the immediate need for new supply in the market to ensure that those who work at local employers reside within the City, lamenting that “in order to rent an apartment in Brooksville, [a current apartment resident] would have to pass away”.
